By now, Matthew Palentchar has been practicing law in Florida for more than a dozen years and he has developed quite a following. Matt’s current firm, which he formed some time ago in St. Petersburg, Florida, is more specifically focused on real estate transactional work and property law than his previous firm or other firms he’s worked with over the years. Over time, he has represented hundreds of lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions. That said, he also works in commercial and residential Florida real estate.
Above all else, Matt Palentchar finds client service to be the key to success, which is why he does other, more basic real estate work, such as title searches, title exams, and the issuance of title insurance for residential and commercial closings. In addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, Matt also likes to spend his free time volunteering for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children. He longs to be more than a good real estate lawyer, but also a leader in the community of St. Petersburg, where he lives with his wife Heather and their two dogs.
Matt Palentchar has certainly come a long way since he obtained his law degree in Ohio and moved to Florida to pass the bar. He started to practice in Naples, at a general practice firm where he handled real estate, estate planning, civil, criminal and business law. That grind grew tiresome, soon, which is why he formed and ran Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A. between 2005 and 2010, when a life-threatening illness and other personal issues caused him to leave Florida for a time. Before long, he recovered, and that is when he formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg.
